3 NESTING TABLES WITH A CONFETTI MOTIF
3 nesting tables that serve as coffee tables, snack tables, homework tables…and which fit one underneath the other for space optimisation.
For the confetti motif, I envisaged the spots of light coloured wood veneer tossed towards the spread out tables. By selecting 2 contrasting woods, beech and walnut, I proceeded by cutting (laser cutter) the pattern through both sheets of veneer simultaneously. As a result, I had 2 sets of the same pattern: one with the darker walnut back-ground and pale beech confetti and the other with a pale background and darker confetti.
The legs of the tables, in walnut, are turned on a lathe in a mid century modern style.
