As a laureate and because it was the opening day of the Salon at the Carrousel du Louvre, I was interviewed live by Karine Vergniol on the set of BFM Business, in the program “Taste for Luxury”.

This Thursday 1st December 2016, the talent of the day is Sarah Bain, handcrafted furniture maker.
After 20 years of career in a multinational, she went back to school and trained as a furniture maker and carpenter. In 2015 she chose to create her own business “Atelier de Sarah” in the Paris area. Her activity centres around the design and building of furniture, built-in projects and the renovation of doors. For the “Carrousel of Applied Arts and Creativity”, Sarah Bain presents a console table in luminescent wood, “Aurore”. A work for which she received the “Young Talent” prize. – Taste for Luxury, presneted by Karine Vergniol for BFM Business.”

Aurore, a console table in luminescent wood, was chosen to appear on all the communication tools of the event: poster, invitations, press dossier, catalogue…!
The prize was a stand at the prestigious Salon of the Carrousel of Applied Arts and Creativity 2016, which took place under the pyramid of the Louvre:
